The Research Lifecycle Programme is looking for an experienced user of Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELNs) to help develop new systems and approaches that will benefit the research community across the University.

Working with The Programme’s friendly and supportive team, you will review the University’s current provision, as well as considering future approaches to Lab Informatics Management Systems (LIMS).

You’ll be comfortable speaking with researchers and IT colleagues to gather requirements before trialling new solutions. Once a way forward has been agreed you will develop templates, guides and training to ensure that users are able to use the platform effectively and efficiently.

Although the role is listed as a Technical Specialist, The Programme is keen to hear from those already using ELNs or LIMS who may have ideas about how such systems could be developed.
